Tonight I have a whole lot of things on my plate, but this is what's up in the independent arts world.

After I run around all day making preparations for a trip to LA this weekend, and trying to sort out what appears to be a long and exciting run over in Scandinavia, and after I do some more work on getting my company up and running (more news on the company coming soon...) I've got to get my voice warmed up, crack my knuckles a little and head over to the Nolita House on East Houston. This warm-yet-hip little place has some of my favorite food (killing mac and cheeses), cool and friendly staff, and a clientele I enjoy playing music for. Yes, I've got a semi-regular thing going there as part of a great Monday night music series curated by one of the designers of 4 Stroke Jeans, which I have been wearing lately.

So, what a week! Nolita this evening, manage Terra Blues Tuesday and Wednesday, leave the club after work and head straight to JFK, land in LA, meetings, meetings, photo shoot, beach, meeting, wedding, come home and then back to Bleecker Street, and all with pennies in my pockets!
