OK, although it does appear that I have taken most of the summer off to you readers, since I haven't posted anything in months, in truth, I've been quite busy. James Dalton, the performer, has been out to a pretty cool music festival in the barren lands of the Oregon high desert, James Dalton, the actor, got some calls to do some background in some commercials, and James Dalton, the guy from Indie Solutions, got pulled into a hip little festival happening in Mercersberg, PA this coming September called "Blackwoods" to act as event manager. Busy? I guess so. But we're just getting started...
Tonight, having the night off, turned into one of dinner at the taco stand around the corner on 4th Ave and 60th Street in Sunset Park, a visit to the ice cream truck, CSI Miami, and some phone meetings. Seems like a not-so-exciting one, but this evening is really about preparing. Working in the arts and performance is not about being out every night of the week. It's sometimes about laying low and getting things ready to go.
So, this week, my only real update is just that I got things going on. But, as the days move forward, I'll not only elaborate, but I'll get back into the groove of this here blog, or whatever it is.
In the meantime, more info on Blackwoods can be found at http://www.jerryjoseph.com/blackwoods.aspx and, oh yeah, I am playing the fest, too.
